These apple cinnamon breakfast bars are definitely my family’s favorite on-the-go breakfast. They’re packed with apple cinnamon flavor and made with basic, wholesome ingredients.
– Rolled oats – Flour – Baking soda – Salt – Eggs – Brown sugar – Cinnamon
– Butter – Vanilla extract – Applesauce – Maple Syrup – Apples
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper and set aside. In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
Add the eggs, brown sugar, butter, maple syrup, apple sauce and vanilla. Use a wooden spoon to stir the mixture until combined. Fold in the grated apples.
Spread the mixture evenly inside the prepared pan, using a rubber spatula to press into the corners. Bake for 20 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown around the edges.
Let sit in the pan for 10 minutes. Carefully lift the parchment onto a flat surface and cut into squares.
