Pancake in a Mug

This pancake in a mug is ready to eat in less than  5 minutes from start to finish. Prep ahead of time so kids can easily make it themselves on busy mornings.

About the recipe

• All-purpose flour • Granulated sugar • Baking powder • Milk • Vegetable oil • Vanilla extract • Berries or chocolate chips


In a microwave safe mug combine flour, sugar and baking powder, milk and vanilla. Fold in chocolate chips or blueberries, if using. 

Step 1

Microwave for 60-90 seconds.

Step 2

Remove from microwave and top with desired toppings.

Step 3

Combine dry ingredients in a ziploc bag so they are ready to be combined with wet ingredients quickly and easily.
