Berry Muffins

Change up your morning muffins by adding berries! These muffins are moist, flavorful, sweet and  topped with an irresistible crumble. 

About the recipe

• Light brown sugar • All-purpose flour • Butter  • Granulated sugar • Eggs • Sour cream • Baking powder • Baking soda • Salt • Blackberries, raspberries,  blueberries or mulberries

Ingredients

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, flour and melted butter. Stir until crumbly and set aside.

Step 1

Combine the butter and sugar and beat until combined. Add the eggs and sour cream and beat on medium-low speed until creamy.

Step 2

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Gradually add to the butter mixture and beat on medium-low speed until combined. Gently fold in the berries.

Step 3

Divide the batter between the 12 muffin cups. Top with the crumbles. 

Step 4

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centers comes out clean.

Step 5

Serve warm!
