- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter cut into chunks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
In a medium saucepan, combine the cocoa, sugar, heavy cream and butter. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
Let cool to room temperature, then pour into jars. Store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready for use.
Reheat for 20-30 seconds in the microwave when ready to use. Pour over pancakes!
- To make the sauce a little thinner, add water 1 tablespoon at a time and stir until desired consistency has been reached.
