Servings: 8
- 4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup salted peanuts
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup raisins or dried cranberries
- 1 tsp salt
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Coat lightly with cooking spray.
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
Pour contents evenly onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring twice during the baking process to avoid burning.
Remove from the oven and let cool. Store in airtight containers for up to 3 months.
- Make sure you are giving the granola a good stir or two during baking so it doesn’t cook unevenly or spot burn.
- Always allow the granola to cool fully before storing it to avoid any excess moisture from forming.
- Try different dried fruits and seeds in your granola. Pumpkin seeds are a great, tasty addition. Especially for the fall.
- For a vegan option, substitute the honey with agave, coconut sugar, or more maple syrup.
