Ingredients

  • 4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup salted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup raisins or dried cranberries
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Coat lightly with cooking spray.
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
  • Pour contents evenly onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring twice during the baking process to avoid burning.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool. Store in airtight containers for up to 3 months.

Notes

  • Make sure you are giving the granola a good stir or two during baking so it doesn’t cook unevenly or spot burn.
  • Always allow the granola to cool fully before storing it to avoid any excess moisture from forming.
  • Try different dried fruits and seeds in your granola. Pumpkin seeds are a great, tasty addition. Especially for the fall.
  • For a vegan option, substitute the honey with agave, coconut sugar, or more maple syrup.
