Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 banana chopped
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Transfer to a mason jar and seal tightly. Place in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Top with extra blueberries just before serving.

Notes

  • Leave a little extra space in the jar so the oats have some space to expand overnight.
  • Don’t mix the oats and berries too forcefully. You don’t want the berries breaking too much, unless you do.
  • Use old-fashioned oats or rolled oats instead of quick-cook oats or steel cut oats for the best texture.
  • Fresh or frozen blueberries can be used to make these overnight oats.
  • Use a non-dairy milk and maple syrup or agave nectar to make this recipe vegan.
  • Add a little vanilla extract for a burst of flavor.
