Crockpot Breakfast Potatoes Recipe
These tasty Crockpot Breakfast Potatoes are the perfect addition to any breakfast. It’s a simple, hands-off recipe made with just a few common ingredients and 10 minutes of prep time. You can also serve these delicious slow cooker potatoes as a great dinner side!

- 3 pounds baby red potatoes cut in bite-sized pieces
- 4 tbsp butter melted
- 1 tbsp seasoned salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup Italian flat-leaf parsley finely chopped, for topping
Add the potatoes to a slow cooker.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, seasoned salt, paprika, salt and pepper and mix well. Pour over the potatoes and stir to combine.
Cook on high heat for 2 hours or low heat for 4 hours, or until the potatoes are fork tender. Sprinkle with parsley and serve!
- The potatoes cook more evenly when cooked on low heat for 4 hours.
- Use a little cooking spray on the inside of the crock pot to help avoid sticking pieces.
- Be sure to check the potatoes a few times throughout the cooking process to ensure they’re not being overcooked. Gently stir around as needed.
- Potatoes are done when a fork can be easily inserted into and removed from a potato.
- Switch up seasonings with a little onion powder, garlic powder, or even cayenne pepper.
- Consider adding cooked bacon or ham to the slow cooker 30 minutes before cooking time is done.
